The second episode picks up the day after the events at the end of the season 3 premiere, and many characters wake up to harsh new realities. Maria, concerned that her husband never came home, even calls his unpleasant mother to try to find him. Speaking of Salazar, Gilberto wants Pacho to head to Mexico to meet with drug lord Amado Carrillo, though the real reason is to let things calm down in Cali after the string of murders they just executed. Lopez and Duffy are also being sent away since their cover was blown when their pictures were plastered on the front page of the Cali newspaper. The Colombia government is pissed, so Peña is forced to put them on a plane back to the U.S.
The season follows Eren and his fellow soldiers from the Survey Corps who are still fighting for their survival against the terrifying Titans. However, threats arise not only from the Titans beyond the walls, but from the humans within them as well. After being rescued from the Colossal and Armored Titans, all seems well for the soldiers, until the government suddenly demands custody of Eren and Historia. Sought after by the government, Levi and his new squad must evade their adversaries in hopes of keeping Eren and Historia safe.In the second half of the season, the Survey Corps led by Erwin embark on a mission to retake Wall Maria, returning to the tattered Shiganshina District that was once Eren's home. The Survey Corps strive to carve a path towards victory as Eren vows to take back everything that was once his.
The score is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. The opening theme for the season's first 12 episodes is "Red Swan" by Yoshiki featuring Hyde,[3] and the ending theme is "Akatsuki no Requiem" (暁の鎮魂歌, Akatsuki no Chinkonka, lit. "Daybreak Requiem") by Linked Horizon.[4] The opening theme for the second part of third season is "Shoukei to Shikabane no Michi" (憧憬と屍の道, lit. "The Path of Longing and Corpses") performed by Linked Horizon and the second ending theme is "Name of Love" performed by Cinema Staff.[5]
The season was universally acclaimed, with both parts receiving an equal amount of praise. Part 1 was praised for its story development, and characters especially through Levi and the introduction of Kenny; whilst Part 2 was praised for its emotional moments, action sequences, stakes, animation, dark tone, music, and voice acting.
Sawano once again returned as composer. The soundtrack was released on June 26, 2019. As with the second season's soundtrack, music featured in compilation films and OVAs released between season two and three was included in the soundtrack. Vocals were provided by Laco, David Whitaker, Gemie, Eliana, mpi and yosh.[14]
It's hard to believe, but there's only one episode left of AMC's The Walking Dead before the show goes on a mid-season hiatus until February. The break is going to be unbearable enough without what is sure to be one hell of a cliffhanger on next week's episode. And while tonight's episode was a set up of the coming conflict, it was done with style and substance; I only wish more shows were as solid week-to-week as The Walking Dead.
For an episode that's setting up the mid-season finale, this one was pretty damn good. The whole season so far has been really solid and has also been slowly building to this inevitable climax. Perhaps the most interesting facet of this conflict is the fact that there are questionable loyalties on both sides: can the Governor trust Merle if his brother Daryl comes to storm Woodbury? Will Michonne continue to be a team player or will she go off on her own mission, either of revenge or of escape? What about Oscar and Axel? Will the former prisoners stand with Rick's group or switch sides if presented with a better offer by the Gov? And what exactly will Andrea do?
Speaking of Mr. Coleman, I really thought The Walking Dead was going to land this "mad scientist" angle, but sadly it's come up short. Milton is rather bumbling and squirrelly, even after all of the exposure to Walkers that should have desensitized him by this point. I liked the fact that Milton is curious about a person's ability to retain any of their humanity after turning, but whether this is his own interest or only that of the Governor's remains to be seen. I'm guessing the latter considering the Governor's daughter, who is way beyond help. I also didn't appreciate the fact that good ol' Milton is smart enough to be Woodbury's "scientist" but dumb enough to unstrap a freshly turned Walker. This has been the only glaring "Glenn in the Well" moment so far this season.
MyMusic was a web transmedia mockumentary sitcom created by the Fine Brothers. It premiered on the MyMusic channel on April 15th 2012 and ran until March 16th 2014. Two seasons of the show were produced, as well as many other shows related to the series, such as The Mosh and Gaming with Metal.
Despite the group chugging along to New Eden, this season has felt quite directionless, losing the initial tension and thrills that the two trains brought and dissipating into more of a slow-paced romp than it perhaps should be. 781b155fdc
